Huntingtown High School's FBLA program is designed to
encourage students to explore the world of business
and gain the necessary experience to succeed both
academically as well as professionally.
In 2004, Huntingtown High School founded its Future
Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter. The
organization is the nation's largest high school interest
group devoted to business. Since 2004, Huntingtown's
FBLA chapter has excelled in its mission to enrich the
character and skills of its members.
General meetings are held on the following dates:
Meeting may focus on the following: ideas for fundraising, ways to improve the school, conference information, and organizing the school store and more.
Monday's are typrcally for officer meetings. Each team, led by an officer, will meet as necessary. At team meetings, FBLA members will be able to seek out more one on one attention and focus on what they wish to accomplish in FBLA.
FBLA operates as a business and as a family; it provides oppurtunities for students to be creative, help each other, and make relationships which they will carry all throughout their lives.
